The Shure SRH1540 studio headphones are excellent high fidelity headphones that have been praised for their incredible overall sound performance, with users pointing out that these have an excellently controlled bass, their mids are silky and smooth and their treble is crisp but not too bright. The instrument separation and soundstage is said to be incredible, along with the fact they are built really well and offer maximum comfort. Some users were however not too happy with the price of these, as they are on the expensive side. One user also pointed out that vocals can sound a bit distant, suggesting their is room for improvement. Although the Shure SRH1540 studio headphones are pricey, you are definitely getting what you paid for. These are definitely up there with some of the best studio headphones available.
