Bottom Line
The Sennheiser IE80 is another Sennheiser headphone that delivers great sound reproduction, but they may not be as comfortable for everyone.
The Sennheiser IE80 in-ear headphones have received positive reviews for their awesome sound quality, the replaceable cables, the minimal microphonics and the fact that one can manually tune the bass on each earpiece via controllers. Users also found that their customer service experiences were excellent. Users were however sceptical of the comfort, finding that they needed to buy replacement earbud tips to better the comfort. There were also some reports of durability issues, with some finding that theirs broke after a few months use. They do, however, come with a two-year warranty. All-in-all, the Sennheiser IE80 in-ear headphones offer awesome audio quality, but the earbud tips may be uncomfortable for some.

The Sennheiser IE 80 take the top-end baton from the IE 8i, one of our favourite pairs of 2011. They don't look all that different and offer very similar functionality, although this new pair leaves out the handsfree kit - the inevitable IE 80i will tighten-up that slack.
