Pros

  • Great sound signature
  • Enhanced bass that is well controlled
  • Natural sounding mids
  • Clear treble that is not overextended

Cons

  • May be uncomfortable
  • Fit may not be secure enough

Bottom Line

The Bowers & Wilkins C5 S2 in-ear headphones are not suited for all ears, but if they fit your ears, you won’t regret purchasing these headphones with their great sound signature.

The Bowers Wilkin C5 S2 in-ear headphones have received positive reviews for their unique loop design, along with their balanced sound signature finding that the enhanced bass was great and it did not bleed into the clear and clean mid frequencies. The Treble frequencies are said to be crisp and not overextended. Some pointed out that they had a decently big soundstage. Some users did admit that although their unique loop design did seem appealing, it did affect the fit and comfortability of the headphones. They said they issues with it staying in and that they became quite uncomfortable after long hours of use. The Bower Wilkins C5 S2 in-ear headphones may discriminate against those with larger or smaller ears, but if they fit, one will be more than happy with their sound quality performances.

The Secure Loop design may not be a perfect fit for every ear, but the Bowers & Wilkins C5 Series 2 sounds better than the original and is one top in-ear headphones for less than $200.
